Writing a Pharmacology Thesis in the right way !!!

I guess this article would be pretty useful for all the pharmacology graduates.

Initially any of us will be in a dilemma what topic to start with?? On which topic should we do our project? How can we start the project?
And here is the simple solution. First, we should have few activities in our mind, that is on which we desire to work on. Then fix a few and then give a kick start with the ethano botanical survey if you are willing to work on herbal formulations. Each plant will have a unique chemical constituent. For example Verbenaceae family have "flavanoids" as their major chemical constituent. In the same way, even plants of other families have unique and other chemical constituents. Note all the chemical constituents of the plants you have fixed to work with. Then simultaneously plan the activity ( example: anti-diabetes, anti-obesity, anti-arthritis, anti-rheumetois, anti-oxidant) and search the chemical constituents accordingly. As each chemical constituent are found to act for specific disorders or ailments, we must match the chemical constituents and set up the activity. ( Example: Flavanoids for obesity or anti-hyperlipidemic activity; Tannins, saponins and flavanoids for anti-ulcer activity etc..) . Specific chemical constituents are sometimes found to act on disorders (example: oleic acid for reducing cholesterol , Probucol in reducing lipids etcc) . Then plan for the work place where you want to work your project or research work. Do choose an efficient Professor or guide for your study. After the plant has been selected, we should either get the plant by ourself and get it authentified from a reputed botanical insitute or procure the plant from a authentified source. The extraction process then takes its role. Choosing the extract is also an important process.(i.e.. Ethanolic or methanolic or aqueous). Then comes the most important part of your research work: " Animal models selection" . We have to choose the animal models in accordance with the feasibility, work area, cost or economy etc.. After starting the animal models, we have to simultaneously note the readings and also note the results. Then last but not the least "Dissertation". The dissertation should be started and should be in the following steps:

Proper composing of a Dissertation or Research Paper:
1. Literature collection.
2. Choosing the proper source for writing the dissertation( ex: Other thesis, research articles from reputed journals, Previous articles on the same plant, Previous articles on the same activity, Matter isolated from Books etcc)
3. Following the guidelines given by the specific university.
4. Typing the matter.
5. Referring authentified sources.
6. Inserting images, tables etc..
7. Checking whether the data and results are in correct form.
8. Scrutinizing and re-scrutinizing the thesis.
